FAQ
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no charge during the beta. Logged-in users get a daily AI allowance that refills every day.
What happens to text I send to the AI?
AI requests are sent to Google Gemini; Novel Studio's server only relays them and never stores your text. During the free beta, AI runs on Google's free quota, so under Google's terms it may be used to improve Google's products. Keep that in mind for unpublished work.
What happens to my stories after the beta?
They stay. We plan to keep a free plan, and you can export everything to TXT, EPUB, or a backup file at any time.
Can I use the AI from Europe?
Not yet. AI writing is currently unavailable in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland. Everything else works there.
