Questions, bugs, and ideas are all welcome. Novel Studio is run by one person, so replies can take a while, but every email gets read.
The quick way
Click Send feedback in the bottom-left corner of any page. It sends your message along with the page you were on — handy for short suggestions and small annoyances.
Reporting a bug
Including these makes a fix much faster:
- Which screen you were on and what you clicked (e.g. scene editor → Write with AI)
- What you expected, what actually happened, and any error message on screen
- Your device and browser (e.g. Windows · Chrome)
- Whether you were logged in
You don’t need to send your manuscript. If it matters, send just the part that causes the problem.
Account and privacy
- You can delete your account and cloud-saved stories yourself on the Account page.
- For requests to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to remove a Pro launch alert sign-up, email the address above. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Before you write in
- My stories don’t show up on another device. Stories written without logging in are stored only in that browser. Log in on the device you originally used and they will upload to the cloud; after that they appear everywhere you log in.
- I want a backup. You can export from the writing screen as TXT, Markdown, or EPUB. Exporting now and then is a good idea even with cloud saving.
- The AI contradicts earlier chapters. If a chapter’s wrap-up (summary, open threads, closing hook) is empty, the AI has nothing to remember it by. Check that you filled it in when finishing each chapter. If things still drift, tell us which chapter and scene.
- I want to write in English. Set the story’s writing language to English in its settings and the AI will draft in English. The interface language is the English/한국어 switch at the top right.

If you believe a page or guide on this site infringes your copyright or other rights, email the address above with the page URL, the part you consider infringing, and something that shows you hold the rights. We will take the content down while we look into it and reply with the outcome.

Proposals from serial platforms, writing courses, or publishers are welcome by email.
